Dr. Bhatnagar did her Medical school in India from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi and post-graduation from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi .She did her Internal Medicine Residency from SUNY Buffalo, NY and later did her Nephrology Fellowship from SUNY Buffalo, NY at ECMC Hospital.

She served as Assistant Clinical Professor for Internal Medicine and Nephrology department at SUNY Buffalo for more than 6 years. Later, she worked with Trinity Medicine WNY as Nephrologist for more than 4 years and took care of patients from Niagara and Erie County.

Dr. Bhatnagar is now working with Nephrology Associates of WNY and is currently affiliated with Millard Fillmore Suburban, Mount St. Mary Hospital, Niagara Falls Memorial hospital, ECMC, Buffalo General, Kenmore Mercy, and South Buffalo Mercy hospital.

Dr. Bhatnagar was identified by her peers as one of the "Top Docs of Western NY" in 2021,2022 and 2023 published by The Buffalo Spree Magazine.

Her expertise is both in inpatient and outpatient, Acute & Chronic Kidney disease, peritoneal and hemodialysis, Hypertension, Electrolyte disorders and Kidney Stones, ICU nephrology.
